Finally, after what seemed a long, long wait, the film of the book The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society has been shown in the island. If you're impressed by the film then drop by Sula Gallery and ask to see some of my prints of the island. They will remind you of places mentioned in the book (and film), and of what happened so long ago, when my father and his family had to endure the occupation. Not to mention my mother, who at the age of twelve had to leave the island for five long years.
