We delivered our work to the gallery in Harriston, Ontario. The show is for members of the Central Ontario Art Association, and I must admit that the members have outdone themselves. The show is in a building attached to the Harriston Public Library, which is itself a wonderful Carnegie building. Take a country drive and check out both places.

There are a number of paintings that I've taken off of the available list because I want to get them into some upcoming shows. Prints are still available, primarily from Saatchi online, but I can also deal directly with limited edition signed prints. I'll list the upcoming shows as soon as possible.

Happy 2024 to everyone. Last year I managed to get into 4 shows, 3 of which were juried. That made me very happy, but now I have to try and top it. So, my plan this year is to work hard and get into 5 shows. Time to get down to my studio and work like crazy, or at least work harder than I did in December. Everyone takes December off, right?

I've been fortunate enough to be in three recent shows, two of which are still going on. The SCA 55th Open Juried Show (now over), the COAA Visions Squared Show, and the COAA Crossections Juried Show. There is some great art to be seen on the walls of those venues so I'd encourage everyone to try and see them.

I just finished a commission for a client in the UK. It was a pen and ink drawing on paper of an old farmhouse in Guernsey named Le Paradis. Guernsey often uses names instead of a street number as the address. The house is historically important, as evidenced by the fact that the street where it is located is named after the house -  La Rue de Paradis.

I have a couple of pieces in this new show in Dundas, Ontario. It's an excellent show with art from some great artists in the Central Ontario Art Association. It's well worth a visit, as the location is fabulous - Dundas Museum & Archives - and the town of Dundas is a nice place to visit. Lots of interesting old Ontario sites, and good restaurants.

I was thrilled to win an Honourable Mention Award for my pen and ink piece called 86E to Penny Lane in the Crossection Annual Juried Exhibition. It's an honour to even be in the show with such talented artists. Please drop by and see the show. The details are on my Events Page.

I'm very pleased to announce that I had a piece selected for the upcoming Crossection 2022 show at the Etobicoke Civic Centre.  The quality of this juried show is quite simply astounding, so I'm so happy to be in the company of such creative artists. Please see my events page for more information. And, please visit the show.

I have 2 pieces in the Visions Show, which is being put on by the Central Ontario Art Association (COAA). It's in The Link @ Innovation Park, in Waterloo, Ontario. Please see my Events Page for the full address.

I helped to set up the show, so I saw all of the art that was entered - absolutely fabulous. COAA is full of very creative, established and well known artists. The show is well worth a visit.

It's actually been been more than 2 years since there has been an opportunity to be in a LIVE show.  Finally it's happened!  The Central Ontario Art Association (COAA) has organized an exhibition.  Take a leisurely drive to Dundas, Ontario, and visit the Perceptions Juried Show at the Dundas Museum and Archives.  I'm flattered to have a black and white pen and ink drawing of the Aberfoyle Mill in the show.  The art is amazing, so please go and have a look.  While you're there take a stroll around Dundas, a wonderful small Ontario town.
