Black and White (many inspired by the book Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society)
There is a great book set in Guernsey during and after WWII called The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society. As an on-and-off again resident of Guernsey I have created pictures all over the island, so it is inevitable that many of my pictures match locations mentioned in the book. There are other great books on the same subject, such as Molly Bihet's 'A Child's War' and Miriam Mahy's 'There is an Occupation'.
My pen and ink drawings are also available in a number of different size prints, including:
- 5 x 7 inch (to fit 8 x 10 frame),
- 8 x 10 inch (to fit 11 x 14 frame), and
- 11 x 14 inch (to fit 16 x 20 frame).
Click on the "Contact" tab to request information about sizes and prices. Or, if you're in the islands then contact the SULA Gallery using the link provided on the 'Links' page for information.
