Finally completed the painting of some boats in St. Peter Port harbour. One of those low Spring tides that you get at that time of year. High tide was actually over the road and hitting the fronts of the shops. When I'm doing anything in colour I love to paint boats and water. Just started another one, as a matter of fact, taken from sea level off Saints Bay.

Delivered a painting of ten fabulous ballerinas to Strictly Rhythm Dance Academy in Guelph. The picture depicts the girls in their starting, and ending, positions in a dance that they will be doing competitively, as well as in their annual recital. The picture is done in a Degas style, and one of the dancers in fact portrays Degas during the dance, even holding a painter's pallet and brush as she dances to interpret the painting of the picture. Check out the 'Others' gallery to view the finished painting.

Finally finished the Fergus painting that I have been working on for what seems like forever! Check it out in the 'Houses and Other Things' gallery.

...and it looks great. Check out pages 40 and 41. Go to my links page to directly access the mag.

There is a fabulous high quality magazine called Gallery that is published in Guernsey and distributed throughout the Channel Islands. They see themselves as "a fresh yet discerning guide to all that happens on the island and beyond".

I'm going to be profiled in the December 2012 issue. Look for it everywhere good magazines are displayed soon ... and please give me your feedback on the profile.

The show is over - a great success - but now it's time to move on to the next big thing. Thank you to everyone who attended the show. I hope you enjoyed the pictures as well as the fabulous new museum.

Show opened on Friday evening and was a great success. More than 400 people made their way through. Many were students who had art in the show, and their parents, but they are future artists and art supporters so the more the merrier.
